It's been a while my friends... but I am back... for those that are reading and occasionally cruise over to see if I have updated my blog, well, thank you for being so patient. It's been tiring these past few months. I don't know how people do it... those who work and are in grad school at the same time. It's so much work and energy. Mad BIG props to you!

This is just a mini hello... HAPPY HOLIDAYS. I will try and pop in here and there before the new year, but this is the time of year to be extremely thankful of all that you have. Prior to the holiday season, I was dreading all the chaos and hoopla that comes with this time of year. But as the days closed in on Christmas, I realized this is my favorite time of year. The music, the lights, the crispness of the air, seeing my family in one room, the bareness of the trees and the colors of the leaves that have fallen to the ground. I was nervous about how expensive this holiday season was going to be. I have worked in over a year and with school expenses and a bit of traveling during the summer, my funds were extremely low. But somehow... in some miraculous way, I somehow managed to make it through Christmas day. I guess what I am trying to convey is that Christmas itself isn't just about the material things (although they sure are pretty to hold and receive) it's truly about spending time with family and friends and living with the spirit of this holiday season. Hopefully by next Christmas, I will have a steady income with a job and have even more to be thankful for. To those out there, happy holidays and here's to another Christmas gone by, and making it through to another year.

Belize is an amazing and beautiful place. The people are very laid back, down to earth and lovely. Truly lovely. While there, time seem not to matter.

"What time is it??" asks my roommate.

"Umm, I don't know..." I replied.

"Good enough for me", says roomie.

That short conversation pretty much summed up our time in Belize. As short as it was, time did not exist. And for a while it was great until the 5th and 6th day... at that point, I was ready to move on to my next country.

The history of Belize is long and it hasn't been easy. Despite being one of the pricer countries to visit in Central America, the local people don't see much of that profit. A good day's wage for Belizians is $10.00 US dollars. Not that much. And although times are tough, and speaking to a local guide, he mention the season has been slow and not much tourists have been coming into Belize.

There's something to been said and remember about this trip. It makes you appreciate what you took for granted or forgot. Living in a first or even second world country brings to light what you thought was always there. Clean water, minn wage, civil and labor rights and everything that our countries have fought for in the past, is something that countries like Belize, Guatemala and Honduras are still fighting to gain. This experience has also humble me in a lot of ways and see the bigger picture.

Words of wisdom to those that are reading this out there (which are probably not that many) travel! Travel the world... it will leave a last impact, more than you ever that.

For me, it's the people. The people that you meet in life. Whether it's a short relationship, a quick hand shake with a polite hello, or the friendships that last a lifetime, they add up to who we are. They don't necessarily define us as a person because we meet so many people in one lifetime, but they do help shape who we strive to be. That's the thing about traveling... u meet so many people along they way that you don't realize how they effect you until you leave them. That's what happened to me this summer. The summer of 2011, the summer that made me realize something about myself. I'm still hungry, for more. I want to see more, I want to taste more, I want to feel more and that there is so much more to life than what is before our eyes. I was fortunate enough to do a bit of traveling this summer and I saw some amazing things along the way and had some amazing experiences also. But for me, it was the people that I met. I don't know what the future may hold for us or if our paths will ever cross again. I sure hope so, because I shared this experience with them and no one else and that is something that we will all take along with us as life goes on. I was lucky to have met everyone that I met along the way. It will be a summer that I won't anytime soon, if ever.

I'm Back! This past week and weekend has somewhat a mess but in a good way. I'm going into my last week of summer jam classes so it's been a little bit crazy in that part of my life. Making sure projects are ready to be presented, working with classmates, editing digital videos.... it's just been busy bee mode for me during the week. On top of that I had a gal pal (whom I heart) come down and visit for the weekend. Although it was short, it's was what was yet to come that got me excited because she's moving down to San Diego for grad school! I'm super excited and happy for her. We went looking for housing, ate lots of yummy food, got a little sun burnt, and I got to show her my home town. The town that I left the city by the bay to come to ... bittersweet. And on to of that, it's baby Vincent's 1st birthday! He is officially one years old! Can you believe! I just felt like yesterday was when he was get baptized when he was one month old! He's growin up so fast! I promise to post more this week. This is my last week of school, so I am really buisy with that and with work. Let's not forget the daily grind.

...with July! How did this happen? When did this happen? Time truly does fly fast, whether your old or young. I'm having a hard time coming to terms with my actual age. I swear I don't feel like my actual age! I still feel like that girl that just graduated college, still trying to figure out her way through life. There are times when I feel lost, confused, guilty, scared, excited, anxious and many other things... all at the same time, and sometimes one at a time. There's a saying that I once heard, we have the rest of our lives to figure out what we want to do, who we want to be... to figure things out. Life is that process... you may have bad breaks, good steps and many more mishaps along the way, but that's the cycle of life.
At the moment, I'm currently feeling anxious. I just want grad school to be over with. I'm enjoying it very much, but at the same time, I'm quite over school and want to start teaching... where? I don't know. That remains to be determined. In the states? Overseas? Open up a non-profit? I have no idea. But I do know I have a lot of ideas that I'm still trying to sort out.

that city by the bay... the sounds of the cable cars on California Street as I walk to work, the sight of the glistening red Golden Gate Bridge on a beautiful clear day, the SF fog that slowly rolls in at the dusk of dawn, the bustling on Stockton street in Chinatown as I debate which dim sum parlor to grub at, walking up the Stockton Tunnel stairs to get to my favorite dirty dive bar that strongly resembles what an Parisian bar would be like, the sights of toursit wandering every part of the city as if they were locals, the anticipation of getting a waffle cone of salted caramel ice cream from the Mission's Bi-Rite's creamery (best in town) and the lovely people that I now call friends and some even family.

I miss that 7 by 7 city by the bay.

Don't worry folks... Sorry for the radio silence but it's been a crazy 2 months. The last I posted was the beginning of an eventful summer that I wasn't expecting but loved it none the less. The weather hasn't been all the great so I haven't been at the beach laying out and having some fun in the sun.. I wish. Actually, did a weekend getaway in Mexico this past weekend that should make up for any lack of sun-less days in SD. A little bit burnt but I'm ok. I promise to post as soon as I get back into the full swing of things. I haven't been feeling inspired of late to blog because I'm just so stressed and busy and TIRED. Do you know what it does your skin?! Not good things... but things are beginning to calm down until the beginning of Fall... crazy. Anyways, i will start posting again later this week... have no fear, Mary Bo Berry is here!

I haven't really been a big fan of the Alexander Wang bag line since launching in 2008 but I'm starting to slowly come around. Ever since I saw Ms Witherspoon here carrying the A.W Rocco bag around in the tan color, I'm slowly drooling. It has a simple shape to it, like a LV speedy duffel bag but without all the logos. It's a creammy butter leather that quite simply put, you could powder your nose with. I'm drooling and slowly considering splurging on it. $850? Is it worth it? Nay or Yay? I'm seriously leaning towards YAY!

It's been all over the runways and streets these days, and it seems like everyone can't get enough of it, including me! camels... of all shades is the it color of the moment and it isn't dying down anytime soon. It's the new black. I'm loving the neutral vibe that the color invokes, because it can seriously go with anything? I, myself, have been eyeing a camel boyfriend jacket... I just haven't found the right one.. i'm picky about these things; when I see something I want, I won't settle for less until I get it just right.

Best Dress :The Metropolitan Museum's Costume Institute Gala

Once a year, around the beginning of May, NYC hosts one of the most glamourous events. They call it the East Coast version of the Oscar but minus the awards stuff. All that matters is who's wearing what. I was a little disappointed with the gowns that walked down the red carpet BUT in my opinion there were two gals who stood.

Chanel Iman (Victoria Secret model) in a custom made Michael Kors gold jumpsuit. I don't know about you but I happen to like jumpsuits... if it's done the right way. I though Chanel's number was edgy, youthful, eye catching and yet still somewhat glamourous enough to be carried off on the red carpet. Along with the smokey eye make, non-fuss locks and the chill attitude, Chanel was def on someone's best dress list.. MINES!

Camille Belle looked like the belle of the ball! Her custom made Jason Wu red carpet red gown was a stand out. Usually red dresses/gowns/outfits don't work on the red carpets because they tend to clash but some how this one worked out pretty well. It didn't drown out. Her skin tone, sleek back but still casual hair bun, simple make-up and clevege worked well with the dress. Her's was definite a red carpet wonder and favorite of mines'. Extra kudos for dress holding up her breast that could go one like no other.

hello my loves! happy monday! sorry I am a little late with the monday posting love but it's been a busy busy day! already so soon i am getting deadlines for my new job and it's only been a week. i love it! it feels good to be working again too... especially with hours that i can deal with. yay! how was your weekend? i have to say mines was quite good and relaxing. i love these kinds of weekends. i got to hang out with my mom on Sunday. my brother and i took her out and treated her to a really nice mother's day Day.

hello my loves! happy friday! what are you up to this weekend? for Mother's day we'll be taking my mother to a champagne brunch by the bay, then driving up tot he Carlsbad flower field and their Strawberry pickings and then we're ending the day with a home cooked meal. I'm really looking forward to it because it's been long overdue for some mama time. the weather should stay beautiful. i hope i don't jinx it! have a lovely weekend my dears and who knows... i could pop in over the weekend with some surprises. xo

Less than a 50 days until the first game of the World Cup

and I am excited! so So SO excited! It will be a little tough with my schedule this summer, but I'm going to make it work. I have to make it work. If not, gosh help us all. I've been prepping, researching, tallying, keeping scores and doing gosh knows what I can do in order to prepare myself for the world's biggest sporting event. Here's what I've been doing.

Vanity Fair (US version) "s June 2010 issue is out and it's all about the boys in color coordinated uniforms and shin-guards. What makes this issue even more special is that they're not even in their uniforms. More like their birthday suits. I'll be reading this issue from cover to cover.

I bought two copies published by ESPN called the Guide to the World Cup 2010. This will be my bible. My haven. My stats about who's who and who's what and everything else "informational". And these don't come cheap either. It was like buying a textbook for college classes all over again. You kind of cringed when they tallyed up the total.

www.kickette.com : Like any chica, I like my juicy gossip. Throw anything involving football/soccer and I'll be your devoted follower until death do us part. I came across kickkette abpout 43 years ago. It was right around the time the World Cup of 2006 was ending. While trying to get any and I ean ANY information aout the fabulous and gorgeious players, I came across kickette. No words can explain the amount of gratitude (for having a place to get my daily dirt) and love (gatherings of other fellow lady soccer followers/lovers) that I have for what is KICKETTE. It's like that pringle comercial... once you pop you won't stop. And I promise you'll be book-marking this page for daily reads... I knwo I do.

I'll be publishing my personal rendition of the World Cup soon. I am hoping to have it edit and ready to post by this weekend. Keep an eye out for it.

hello my loves! how is your week going so far?? mine has been going smooth but it's going to be a little bit bumpy the next couple of days, but in a good way. with work, upcoming finals for my recreational classes, lots of baby time, making cranes, planning an absolutely fabulous hen party with me not being there, gift wrapping, mother's day planning and AWW! so much but so little time! tomorrow i'll have a day off but it will probably be anything but relaxing. however i will get some one-on-one time with my sweet baby nephew and perhaps we'll go for a cup of tea and scones later in the afternoon by the beach. i'm soooo looking forward to that part of the day. and to make matters more fab, the weather has been absolutely divine. it's beginning to look a lot like spring with a little summer! i love this weather. i live for this weather. i breathe this weather. heck, it's why i quit my day job and moved back down here. to experience sunshine without wind. to feel warmth without needing to wear a scraf. to rock flip flops and not get my feet frozen 20 minutes later.

i think i'll go put my feet up, wear a pretty spring necklace and perhaps go to the beach.

it remains to be seen whether i'll take a chance and frolic into the weather (probably not)

Strawberries Glory

these past weekend we headed up to Carlsbad for some berry picking fun-ness. it was a real treat. for 15 bucks you would think that might be a little steep for strawberries, but it's actually pretty worth it. with a bucket of strawberries, you get to pick which to pick, eat along the way (to be honest, by the end of the pickings, i was a little strawberried out) and the experience of the whole thing. it was lots of fun! this was of course baby vinny's first strawberry picking's trip and he had uber fun! he went through 3 outfit changes, 4-5 mashed up berries and end up with a very red chin for the rest of the day.

i am planning on coming here again next weekend for mother's day and hopefully my stomach can hold on to the berries.

If your in the neighborhood or wanting to plan a fun family day, i would suggest heading to Carlsbad for some berry fun.

i've read my fair share of books. emma? mr darcy?! can you make sense of my sensibility. can you eat, love and pray at the same time? is alice really in wonderland or is she just having a really bad and somewhat kinky dream? i'd love to try gummy raindrops, take a bite out of daffodil teacups, sip from chocolate streams and break a branch of sugary goodness, all while watching mini overly tanned green hair men endure labor that pays only minnimun wage. and all while singing too. there was once a witch, who lived in the wardrobe and she was mean and cruel and teased kids with turkish delights. she was trying to take over a place called narnia, but luckily she was stopped by a lion nameed aslan, two sons of adam, two daughters of eve, and oh yeah, jesus.

what's not to love about the authurian legend. personally, i'm obsessed with it. you've got romance, heroism, a wizard wielding his hand, not wand (cough cough, harry potter) with magic, ladies in waiting, knights in shining armour, a round table that symbolizes all that is good and white unicorns. but wait. let's not forget the 3 way love triangle of adultery by the mighty king, his faithful queen and loyal knight. also, there's this weird incest that happened between the king and his half sister who also happens to be a witch and his greatest enemy. and also, she gives birth to his son, who eventually is killed by his father, the king, but not before he wounds his king, so much, that he can never recover and both die. can you guess who is left dead in the holy grail and who is sailed into the gates of avalon? and i haven't even gotten to the good stuff yet! there's dragons that talk and eat people, trolls tricking royalty, a lady that lives on a magic lake, evil lurking in the woods with red capes, and the sword. notice how i introduced the item as the and not a. this is not your ordinary sword. this is not one that you can find at your local blacksmith or steal from other kingdoms. this is the sword. to even obtain it, you must be able to pull him out of a stone. and it doesn't let just anyone pull him out. he'll snub you. he'll deny you. he's a snob like that. you gotta be king. nothing less. and this sword can destroy anything or anyone that it's holder wishes to destroy. the sword was the true star/hero of this story.

i'm from southern california. it's in my blood. written in the stars. no beans, hold the rice. it's all meat. it's always been about the meat. how's it's marinated, grilled, and still sizzling, it's sliced up and down and then tossed together with some homemade salsa and if your lucky, avocado. jackpot lucky? guacamole. the good stuff, where chucks of the avocado is still in there. sometimes it's wrapped in a special warm toasted cocoon, and other times, it's simply laying there on a corn of goodness. if your not careful, the savory juices could sneak out and slowly run down your chin. almost taunting you that it's managed to escape. get it! but don't mop it away with a napkin. (that's a crime in most countries) swipe it back in with your tongue so that you can do that all over again. yes. this is mexican goodness at it's best. carna asada taco please.

everywhere but the usa (why???! oh why?!) football, also know as soccer, is the biggest sport, obsession, following, religion of man kind. in england, they have street hooligan gangs representing the teams. in south america, they fight in the stands during the games! they really do! why? for kicks?! spain?? don't be naive. they may be cultured and gentile but they are as potty mouth as your next boston red sox fans. bossy as your new york knicks season ticket holder. they will out word you, out run you, tackle you before you can even put your beer down. they are for life and you best better remember that. germany? how serious are they? let's just say it's almost their second religion? how so? they've incorporated it into their biggest holiday of the year. oktoberfest! and the players aren't bad looking either.

i may not be a fashionista serving at some big house label or publication, but i'm still up to date. i know the trends. who's a do or don't. i subscribe to not one but TWO years to french vogue. i tiVo project runway. anna wintour: my mentor. stella mccartney: BFFs. vogue: my bible. barneys? it's on my daily route to work so i have to stop in and say hello, of course. versace: since 5th grade. emmanuelle alt: she's on my speed dial. #6. let's just say i love exploring the world of fashion i live vi-curiously through blogs, websites and magazines.

the past two weekends, PBS had aired a mini-series set against the backdrop of the World War II. i found it moving, romantic, endearing, intense, real, and so much more. Rarely do I react to all these emotions when watching a movie. I cried, of course. I laughed. I became frustrated. Hopeless I felt. I loved. In the end, all was okay, all was alright because in the end, man won. Man prevailed. In the end, the right man will do the right thing but still remain dignified, respected, show kindness, offer generosity, all without losing who he is. I let out a sigh of contentment. There were some quotes through the movie that really stood out to me. Got to me. I mean, it wasn't life altering... I didn't go out and save the world overnight... although the thought has already been running around in my mind for quite some time now, but just not going about it as doing it over night. Ha!

She heard the words that were spoken, but she could not bring herself to accept them. Because to do so, would mean accepting the truth. Realizing that any hopes and dreams of their future together would not come true. The pain of lost dreams is too much for any human soul to bear.

Some believe that destiny is the pre-determined path we travel down in life. Others claim that it is the rile of luck that changes us. If it is luck, then perhaps it lies not so much within us, but within our natures, on how we deal with the hand that we are dealt.

Oh! So poetic. So romantic. So intense. Although this series is based on a fictional novel (by Andrea Levy), I can't help but wonder that during that time period, something happened. That bits and pieces of this story happened. All in all, watch it. It will move you. Click here to watch a trailer from BBC networks. Even the trailer is simply divine... (it's the soundtrack).

PS- I'm not sure when the showing of the mini-series will be, but I'm pretty sure you'll have some way to watch it (hint: YOUTUBE).

hello my loves! sneaking in on this lovely weekend. i'm currently out and about but what to check on u for a little xoxox. i'm sleepy due to my night out the previous night and all i want to do is be in bed and stay awhile. snugglely warmness is one of my simple pleasures in life.

It's been a somewhat stressful week for me but i'm ready to kick off my shoes, kick up my feet and relax. my simple pleasures are the key to my relaxation. i wish i could relax all the time, a girl gotta bring home the bacon and cook it sometime, right? what are your simple pleasures? mines? the beach relaxes me... sinking my feet into the sand at the beach relaxes more. i love reading magazines in bed, tickling my nephew, a good cup of coffee and picking out flowers.

my loves! i know i am a little bit late with my Friday post but i was up and out the door early this morning and just NOW got home. I decided to treat myself to a little thrift shopping escapade, along with a nice lunch downtown and a little relaxation from my stressful week.

what i am about to share with you... i am a little hesitate because it was a real treat to come across it. but i can't contain the delightful deliciousness no more and will share with u my treause find. i came across a website, while blog browsing, a while ago and came across this. periodically Ming, whom is a Harvard grad, puts up recipes for cupcakes! and they're really good too! but wait! it doesn't stop there! not only are there sweet cupcakes, but there are savories receipes too! and cookies! i've already made and ate the red velvet ones (cupcake 4) and the banana cake with maple brown butter frosting (cupcake 6)! and ate three right away each time! so gooood! i'm planning on making the savory chedder scallion cupcakes and the homemade girl scout thin mints! i'm excited and also a little nervous because the outcome could go straight to my wasit line! i better watch out! especially with a wedding in June! lol. visit mingmakescupcakes.yolasite.com today to try one of the recipes. i gurantee, you'll be planning on making one of the delights soon!

Collections: Flowered Mason Jars

First up in my series is: flowered mason jars. Originally I was going to do flower arrangements, but the more I browsed, I realized the arrangements that caught my eye were the ones in mason jar. I myself have a mason jar, and I specifically make weekly trips to the local farmer's market (sometimes Trader Joe's) to buy flowers to fill my mason jar. I love it. There's something quite rustic, quint, chic, a little bit international but still has that frontier feel to it too. It can be urban or it can be country. Either way, mason jars make for a great vase substitute for any kind of arrangements. I've seen them in bathrooms, weddings, bedrooms, formal or informal living room, restaurant tables, cafe, etc... the list can go on and on. I'm seriously thinking of having mason jars at my wedding... if I can find them, tinted ones... like milk vases almost. My mason jar you asked?? I placed mine right nice to my bed. So that way, they're the first things I see AND smell when I wake up each morning.

I believe I mentioned in an earlier post of my need of wanting to travel. It's been tough given my current situation (mostly financial) but I am going to do my bestest of making it all work. In the mean time, to satisfty my traveling needs, I've been surfing. On the web that is. Living vi-curiously through other peoples travels is all I can do at the moment (hopefully that will change next month). There have been some awesome blogs that I just so happen to stumble upon but one that's really got my attention is Mina and Alex. They are so cute. They are young recently married couple from Canada who quit their jobs, sold their house, and ran away together to seek out adventures and make lasting memories by traveling the globe. Whether it's the summer or winter, short still find it's way in to the street scene style. Some pair them shorts with plain tees, while others dress it up with tights and knee high boots. There's even been a leather short sighting... hopefully that was worn in the winter. Me? I like pairing mines with a simple tank and some flip flops. It's my most rotated outfit during the summer and I love it.

I know, I know, I know... It's been a while since I've created a post, and I apologize if I left any of you in the dark... I've just been, well, plain lazy and uninspired of late. But now I am ready, like Madonna sings, to get back in the grove. Here are a couple of things that have been in my thoughts lately...

coffee... I pretty much treat myself to a cup of coffee everyday... there are times where I go two to three days without my Joe and finally when I reunited with him again, I feel simple bliss. Because that's what coffee is to me... one of the most simple pleasures in life. Grande Soy Vanilla Latte please.

my lovely girlfriends... how i miss you. Not a day goes by where I don't think of u guys. Think about the lovely times we've shared, the tears we shed, the laugh we had and the bonds that we've built. It makes me sad that future memories are limited but I don't let that get me down. But soon, I shall see my lovely gal pals and the world will be a little bit better.

LOVE. All you need is love. All you have is love. Love is what makes the world go round. The greatest gift is love and to be loved. Enough said.

Of late, I have been wanting to explore and travel. I have two trips nailed down so far but I still can't stop thinking about other places to conquer and more adventures to create. Australia?! Spain? Norway???? Amsterdam??? DC? the Big Apple??? Once there I can't wait to snap away. I think that's a new hobby of mine... not really a passion or a version but more of a addiction of sorts, once u snap u can't stop. I guess you could say it's trying to capture the moment so that when you look back at your photo albums of your wonderful adventures you think, "man... that was fun".

Since moving, I've had the opportunity to do a make over with my bedroom but my space and $$ has been limited. I've been leaning towards neutral colors and palette but some color just pops right in. Isn't this garden wall paper lovely?? Wouldn't it be wonderful to wake up to this pretty room? Yes please!!

I'm obsessed with making an entrance AND exit. I don't know what it is, but I always notice people when they first enter a room OR leave a room! Does that make me weird?? Perhaps but I'm okay with that. Maybe I just notice the little things. There's something seductive, mysterious and utterly romantic when someone comes into a room that everyone in the room is capture by them... whether they're beautiful or not. And with me noticing this, I feel other people have my thoughts too... not down to the T but they too notice entrances and exits. So with that said, I love making an entrance AND making an exit. I would love doing both fashionably and breathtakingly noticeable! Like this lovely lady...so much is said through this simple gesture. Love!

Since getting my new bike, I've been trying my bestest to ride around as much as I can. Now that the weather has picked up and the sunny days are lasting longer, I now have an excuse to go get my mail, go to the local liqour store and pick up a QUICK PICK, and ride over to my mom's house all on my trusted custard yellow cruiser. It's lovely, it's gentle, it's fun and she's all mine... her name? Custard of course!! Because she's custard looking! The color that is! he he.

Paris is definitely on my list of the top three places that I would like to visit one day. I am hoping to make a trip there later this summer, including other European countries. Although this photo doesn't have an effiel tower or a Parsian cafe in sight, I think it still somehow captrues some of the characteristics of Paris. The rectangular windows, the flowered window sills... it's like it all from a novel frmo the 1940's. Someone once told me there is always a story behind a picture... and I have no thought that doesn't apply to this photo. Actually, I think there's a dozen stories in this picture... it's just figuring out which one you to be told. {heart}

and so it begins. It is that time of year again, when loads of people, including myself, go crazy...go maaaad with college basketball fever. It's also acceptable to root for more than one team at a time because we all want them to end up in that epic battle. Where they position themselves and can be called as part of the Final Four. I love it. I'm obsessed... for three weeks, there's nothing I rather do than be on edge, constantly watching my TV sports channel, clicking refresh to know the latest scores and getting into bar fights/arguements about who's team is going to kick whose team <-- this is actually my favorite. I have two teams I'm going to root. I've been rooting for them since the day I could understand what a three pointer meant. Duke Blue Devils & Florida Gators. I am a huge, HUGE gator fan and have been since I could remember. Duke? I don't know how I became a supporter, I just knew that they were awesome I will never forget the last championship that they one because I was there! Amazing! Amazing players who played an awesome game. I just can't talk enough about it.

Do you go crazy for March Madness?? If so, who are you rooting for?? Hopefully, it's for Duke and Florida!

I could spend all day looking, browsing, searching, and gazing at pictures. Whether it's people, places, food or other beautiful sights, I'm still addicted to looking at everything. I especially love looking at other bloggers pictures. It's pretty amazing what others can capture with a simple click with their fingers. I especially love it when you can add some small detail to the picture and it'll look totally different and you can see it from a different perspective. Like lighting, or adding an ascent, or making it black and white, I think it pretty cool of how far you can go with just a simple photo. I'm wishing to get more computer graphic savvy, when I have time... but at the moment, I'm simply content at looking at everyone elses' photos!

sorry sorry sorry... but life had been kicking me in the butt as of late. I'm finishing grad school applciations, one down - two to go) studying for life altering test, getting my shots, background checks, coverage of Paris Fashion Week... it's just been all over the charts. Growing up, I read the series(all 7) and watch the BBC/PBS film adaptions too! I loved it and my favorite character is Aslan! He's like my hero... big time.
The movie comes out this Christmas and I will probably be one of the first peoples to see it, and I ain't going to deny it!
Can't wait!

So I'll be on the road again after Paris fashion week. I've been busy busy busy busy like a busy bumbling bee with school applications, studying for liFe altering tests, blogging, fashion week, baby stories, setting up a new life in Sunny Diego and other life things... but it's all worth it... because I know in the end, everything will be okay. It may seem a lot at the moment and that thoughts of what am i doing with my life and if I can handle all the madness that's going on may be running through my head over and over again... and I didn't even push the repeat button. But that's me for you... I tend to over worry, over analyze and over step my boundaries... sometimes I wonder if I even have a limit!

But... despite all the chaos, I am looking forward to a mini vacation... to a place that I call my second home... a very close second behind my first (SD). I'll be visiting friends and love ones in the city by the bay in two weeks and I'm SUPER DUPER excited! I can't wait! I can't wait for taco runs, dive bars hopping, coffee shops talks with girlfriends... HAPPY HOUR (people in SF take their HH very seriously, like no others) late night girl chats, muni (bus) transferring and of course...saving the best for last... bacon wrapped hot dogs. SO GOOD. I will be sure to take pictures while I am up there.
