The sun is shining. I am actually up before 7 during a work day. It feels a little bit like spring/early summer. Yay! I love sunny days... I live for sunny days :)

five things that made this past weekend awesome

1. Hanging out with far away friends and making new ones. It's been a while since I have seen Joy and Rie... one who lives in La La land and other who resides on the East Coast, so it was quite great and relaxing to spend time with them. I miss u guys! We shopped, ate, gossip, ate, shopped, danced, tanned, ate, shopped and draaaaaaaaaaaaank. Good times my ladies... good times, always.

2. Korean BBQ... for the first time in months! SIX months to be exact... i have been cutting back on my meat... by saying cutting back, I basically was meatless for about 4 months with the occasional bite of chicken and turkey here and there. But seriously, it was yum. Connie, one of my dearest friends took us to some place in Oakland and we choked down Galbi, BiBamBop, Ja Chap and Tofu Seafood Soup... seriously sooooooo good. And on top of that, I had two and half helpings of tea green ice cream :-/

3. Two newly purchased items... my Steven Madden gladiator sandals... seriously i look smoking in them. seriously. Also purchased the Matthew Williamsom for H & M wallet... so cute! And it was half off! I couldn't resist.

4. Beach Beach Beach... we went to Stinson Beach, which is over the golden gate bridge up here in the bay area. Despite the rocky journal to get to the little town that is known as Stinson Beach... we still made it through and BBQ and bath. Soooo relaxing... we ate, drank, gossiped, BBQ, dug up small crabs in the sand, played a little bit of beach volleyball... i'm bruised but ok. Great Day.

5. IKEA... need I say more???

So, I am sure excited today. There are many reasons. Very week, I look forward to the local farmers market that the city has downtown which is about a five minute bus ride away from my work. So I hoped on the MUNI, and walked straight to the Belgian man. He sells wonderful waffles. Sweet, warm, caramelized Belgium waffles. Don't get powdered sugar. They are better alone... trust me. So i ate it in like 5 seconds. Walked around, bought some daisies for 3 bucks because they make me feel happy.

So got some good de-lish waffles and daisies.

Another reason that I am super duper excited for today is because tomorrow I am going to go see Kings of Leon... I am waaaaaaaay excited for this. And I get to see my future lover...

Caleb. I love you. Will u marry me? Soon?

Well, tomorrow is a big day.

Later in the day...

Treated myself to a movie. Went by myself. I am the kind of person that truly treasures me time. Time for me and what I want to do and want I want to feel and the list could go on but point be... I think it';s healthy and good for one's soul to do things on your own. Helps put some things on the board... puts things in perspective.

Oh, and Chris Pine... you are hot. You can KIRK me anytime. :)
